Indian Cricket Team is once again going to clash against Men in Green on Sunday (04th September).  The Match is going to be played at Dubai International Stadium. Rohit Sharma-led side would be eager to once again dominate the terms.

He knows that Pakistan would be ready to pounce back and make a statement that they cannot be taken lightly. The Men in Green would be over the moon after their 155-run victory against Hong Kong; at the same time, they would be aware of the fact that India will be a tougher challenge.

Babar Azam would be worried as they don’t have a proper middle-order lineup. They are heavily reliant on Babar, Rizwan & Fakhar and if the Pakistani team loses these 3 wickets inside power-play overs;  then they would be behind the 8th ball. Pakistan earlier used to have Hafeez & Malik who used to provide stability in the middle order and make sure that the team gets a respectable total.

Some Pakistan Greats have raised their voice about whether Indian Cricket Team is afraid to play at Sharjah. It looks like now the Greats have pulled the trigger & started playing mind games.

Pakistan Great Sikandar Bakht Questions Indian Former Cricketers

On Geo Super News, there were Indian & Pakistan Experts present who were having a discussion ahead of the high-octane clash. Sikandar Bakht: “I just wanted to know, why doesn’t India want to play in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi? They only play in Dubai. Are you afraid of playing in Sharjah? The draws had already been out.”

“The schedule had India’s match against Pakistan in Sharjah. You guys changed it to Dubai. Are you afraid of going to Sharjah? We have been asked this question by our people, so I thought I would ask the same to you,” he had further added.

Kapil Dev & Mohammad Azharuudin were tight-lipped. “That ground has been pretty bad for us. Now, we are in strong favors with the ICC, so we are not playing there,” Atul Wassan said, prompting laughter from both sets of panellists.

Injury Worries for India & Pakistan

Indian Cricket Team were dealt a huge blow as Ravindra Jadeja was sidelined due to an injury. Jadeja has been a vital cog for Team India as he is a 3 Dimensional player. He had shown his heroics against Pakistan in the 1st round of the Asia Cup 2022.

In his play, Axar Patel has been included in the squad which is a like-for-like replacement as Axar had a good Caribbean tour. It would be interesting to see whether he gets a game as Ravichandran Ashwin is also waiting in the wings for a game.

Shahnawaz Dahani who is expected to be the next big thing in Pakistan Cricket got injured ahead of the clash. He is a bowler who has got express pace and most importantly he has control over his line & length. His absence may not hurt Pakistan that much as Hasan Ali can be drafted into the playing 11.

Hasan who was previously left out of the squad got a 2nd chance as Wasim the fast bowler got injured. Hasan can be a good choice as he is immensely experienced and can be a game-changer.
