Hardik Pandya, an all-rounder for India, stated that before to their Asia Cup 2022 match against Pakistan, India does not want to be influenced by the “hype” and “outside noise.”

At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India and Pakistan will square off in the tournament’s second match on Sunday, August 28.

On Sunday, August 28, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the India National Cricket Team, headed by Rohit Sharma, will play against the Pakistan National Cricket Team, led by Babar Azam.

During the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup last year, India and Pakistan faced off against each other at the same location. The Virat Kohli-led Team India fell to the Babar Azam-led Pakistan by a score of 10 wickets. Team Pakistan defeated Team India for the first time in a World Cup game at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

We keep the outside noise outside: Hardik Pandya

Pandya, who made his debut for India in 2016, stated that India must focus on what is required to win the game rather than allowing extraneous sounds to distract them.

“We all recognize that there is a lot of excitement outside. Many people have strong feelings about the game and this particular contest. But we have to make sure that we keep the outside noise outside and that we can focus on what we should be focusing on,” Hardik Pandya was quoted as saying in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Both India and Pakistan had injury concerns in their bowling units ahead of Sunday’s encounter, with the likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Jasprit Bumrah ruled out.
