BCCI Reveals Why Arshdeep Singh Is Rested For Australia T20Is, While Hardik Pandya And Bhuvneshwar Kumar Are Rested For South Africa T20Is

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the real reason behind the exclusion of the young left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh from the squad for the home T20I series against the Australia National Cricket Team.

Also, the BCCI has revealed why the veteran right-arm pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya have not been included in the squad for the home T20I series against the South Africa National Cricket Team.

On Monday, September 12, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced India’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which is set to be played in October-November in Australia.

Also, the squads for the home T20I series against Australia National Cricket Team and South Africa National Cricket Team were announced.

The Australia tour of India 2022 consists of a three-match T20I series that will be played on September 20, September 23 and September 25 in Mohali, Nagpur and Hyderabad.

The South Africa tour of India 2022 consists of a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series. The T20I games will be played on September 28, October 2 and October 4 in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and Indore. The ODI games are scheduled to be played in Ranchi, Lucknow and Delhi on October 6, October 9 and October 11.

Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep and Bhuvneshwar will be reporting to the NCA for conditioning-related work – BCCI

In an official statement released by the BCCI, it was asserted that Hardik, Arshdeep and Bhuvneshwar “will be reporting to the NCA for conditioning-related work” during the home series against Australia and South Africa.

“Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be reporting to the NCA for conditioning-related work during the course of the home series against Australia and South Africa,” the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in an official media release on Monday, September 12.

Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohd. Shami, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah.

India squad for South Africa T20Is:
