Indian Cricket Team silenced all the critics by winning the 2nd T20I match against Australia. The Men in Blue now have squared the T20I Series and would be pumped up as earlier they had received a lot of criticism for their performance. The match was an 8 over one due to the rain; at one stage it looked like spectators would go disappointed as the cut-off time was nearing.

Australia would be dejected as they missed a golden opportunity to wrap up the series. The visitors had scored 90 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 8 overs which was quite a good score. The likes of Wade continued his purple patch as he scored 43 runs in 20 balls and now it won’t be wrong to say that the wicket-keeper batter is getting better day by day in his finisher’s role.

India Equals Pakistan Record

The Men in Blue have now registered 20 wins in the calendar year of 2022. Pakistan had won 20 matches in 2021 calendar year and now it looks like India is on the verge of breaking their record. Apart from the 3rd T20I match, India is going to play 3 T20Is against South Africa and then there is the high-voltage T20 World Cup 2022. Rohit Sharma has been topsy-turvy in his leadership yet he has shown results.

Indian Captain Rohit Sharma was in red hot form. In the very first over, he smashed gigantic sixes to Josh Hazlewood and was looking in sublime touch. The right-handed batter scored 46 runs in 20 balls as he struck 4 fours & 4 sixes. The skipper was batting with intent and the entire crowd was ecstatic as the batter was hitting monstrous sixes and was making fun of the bowlers.

Axar Patel, the left arm off spinner continued his good run as he took two big wickets of Glenn Maxwell & Tim David. It looks like Axar Patel is unplayable at the moment as in the last match he had taken 3 wickets. The all-rounder is bowling smartly as he isn’t bowling in the slot area due to which he is getting rewards. Men in blue would be hoping that Axar Patel fills the void of Ravindra Jadeja and as of now the team is not missing the veteran all-rounder.
