Star India National Cricket Team all-rounder Hardik Pandya hit a hat-trick of sixes in the first T20I against Aaron Finch-led Australia National Cricket Team to finish off the innings at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh on Tuesday, September 20.

Hardik Pandya looked dangerous out in the middle and he played exceptional innings in the match against Australia. The premier all-rounder smashed 71 runs off 30 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes. The 28-year-old batted with a strike rate of 236.67. Also, this was Hardik’s career-best T20I score.

He finished off the innings in style by smashing three consecutive sixes in the last over of the innings, which was bowled by young Aussie all-rounder Cameron Green. Hardik smashed a flat six over the deep midwicket on the 4th ball, a sensational looking six over the long-off on the 5th ball and on the last ball of the over he played an upper cut over the deep third to complete the hat-trick of sixes.

Losing the toss and batting first, Team India were able to post 208/6 on the board with the help of sensational performances by Hardik, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.

Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra was highly impressed with Hardik’s batting performance in the game against Australia and he took to Twitter to shower praise on the all-rounder.
