Virat Kohli regrets not meeting Lata Mangeshkar:
Virat Kohli expressed regret at not having the opportunity to speak with Indian playback artist Lata Mangeshkar, adding he wanted to learn more about her journey from her.
Mangeshkar, who was widely regarded as one of the finest vocalists, died in February 2022 as a result of multiple organ failure syndrome. She was 92. Mangeshkar has a deep love for cricket.
Kohli responded with Mangeshkar when asked which historical female figure he would like to take out to dinner.
In a video posted on Twitter, Kohli said, “I never got the chance to meet Lataji, so it would have been fantastic to have a discussion and get to know about her life and about her journey a little bit more.”
In February or March of 2023, Kohli will make a comeback to compete for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Four Test matches between India and Australia will start on February 9 in Nagpur.
After that, the teams will go to Delhi for the second Test (February 17–21), then to Dharamsala for the third Test (March 1–5), and finally to Ahmedabad (4th Test, March 9-13).
