Veteran Australia National Cricket Team opening batsman David Warner and young Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi were engaged in a hilarious standoff on Day 3 of the Lahore Test.
The third and last match of the three-match Test series between Pat Cummins-led Australia and Babar Azam-led Pakistan is being played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Notably, the first two games of the series, which were played in Rawalpindi and Karachi ended in a draw and the winner of the Lahore Test will win the first-ever Benaud-Qadir Trophy.

Meanwhile, the incident between Afridi and Warner took place in the third and last over of Australia’s second innings on Day 3.
After conceding a boundary on the second-last ball of the over Afridi bowled a short of a good length delivery and the Australian opener defended the ball comfortably and imitated Marnus Labuschagne by shouting “No Run”.
Also, Warner was staring at the 21-year-old Afridi and then Shaheen Shah Afridi walked towards Warner, they stood inches from each other and later laughed and walked back.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first in the match and with the help of the terrific batting performance of Usman Khawaja (91), Steve Smith (59), all-rounder Cameron Green (79) and wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey (67), Australia were able to score 391 runs.
Pakistan were off to a good start in their first innings as Azhar Ali and Abdullah Shafique added amazing 150 runs together. Azhar’s innings ended at the score of 78 runs off 208 balls and Shafique scored 81 runs off 228 balls. Also, skipper Babar Azam scored brilliant 67 runs.
However, Pakistan faced a terrible batting collapse as at a point in time Pakistan were at 214/3 and they got bundled out for just 268 runs. At the end of Day 3, Australia were at 11/0 with Warner and Usman Khawaja out in middle.
