CPL 2021: SKN vs TKR- Prediction, Match 30. The 30th match of the CPL 2021 will be played between Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders at Warner Park on Monday. The two teams currently occupy the top two spots on the points table. Both played against each other on Saturday and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots won that game by 8 wickets.
With that win, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots became the first team to seal their playoff berth. Trinbago Knight Riders might be sitting at the second position, however, there is still a chance that they might not reach the playoffs. They have one game to go and that will also be played against St. Kitts. Pollard and Co. would be desperate for a win on Monday.
The upcoming game will be a reverse fixture of the recently-concluded game between the two sides. Trinbago Knight Riders batted first in the last game and notched 159 runs in the allotted 20 overs. The openers didn’t get to a great start, with both Simmons (11 off 6) and Ramdin (10 off 15) getting out inside the first five overs.
Munro and Darren Bravo, however, led the recovery as they built a 50-run partnership for the third wicket. Darren Bravo got out on 22 off 22 balls, while Munro scored 47 off 34 balls.
Kieron Pollard scored 15 runs off 13 balls before getting out in the 15th over. Sunil Narine, however, struck 33 runs off 18 balls later in the innings to guide the team to a reasonable score.
The Knight Riders, however, had no answer to the destruction caused by Ewin Lewis in the second innings. The West Indies scored a match-winning 102 off just 52 balls. His knock helped St. Kitts chase the total inside just 15 overs. Chris Gayle also scored a fine 35-run knock off 18 deliveries.
St. Kitts and Nevis, eventually, chased down the total inside 15 overs.
