CPL 2021: SLK vs BR Match Prediction, Match 25. Saint Lucia Kings face off Barbados Royals in the 25^th match of the CPL 2021 on Saturday at Warner Park. Both sides haven’t had the best of outings this season. Barbados Royals find themselves at the bottom of the points table, having won only 2 matches out of 8.

They are coming into the contest on the back of a 6-wicket defeat at the hands of Trinbago Knight Riders. After being put in to bat first, Barbados Royals were bundled out for a paltry 93-run total. Spinners spun a web around Barbados as they looked clueless on the slow track.

K Mayers and J Charles started aggressively and added 20 runs in the first two overs. However, Khary Pierre’s introduction in the third over stole Barbados’ momentum as he struck in his very first over. Barbados Royals set a target of 93 runs, which was never going to be enough.

Mohammad Amir and Joshua Bishop bowled extremely well and picked two wickets each. However, all they did practically was delay the inevitable as Trinbago eventually chased down the total in 16.5 overs. Colin Munro anchored the chase and played right till the end. He played an unbeaten knock of 41 runs off 47 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six.

On the other hand, Saint Lucia Kings are also coming off a defeat at the hands of Jamaica Tallawahs. This was their second consecutive defeat and things could turn awful if they make it three losses in a row. Saint Lucia Kings’ bowlers were hammered all across the part in the last game.

Every bowler went for more than 8 -runs an over as Jamaica notched 211 runs in the first innings. Kennar Lewis set the foundation with a solid 56 off 24 balls, while the middle order too made a substantial contribution.
