The upcoming Caribbean Premier League 2024 (CPL 2024) will be the 12th edition of the competition. The highly-awaited tournament is scheduled to be played from August 29 to October 6.
CPL 2024 will be played across six venues in the Caribbean - Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. A total of six teams will be participating in the tournament this year. CPL 2024 will have a total of 34 games.
Each of the six teams will play 10 games each. The top four teams will then advance to the playoffs. The playoff games will be played from October 1. All the playoff matches will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
CPL 2024 will have a new team. With Jamaica Tallawahs getting disbanded, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will be making their debut in the competition this year.
Guyana Amazon Warriors are the defending CPL champions and will be looking to defend their crown. A victory in CPL 2024 will make Guyana only the second team after Trinbago Knight Riders to defend the title.
