Fans on Twitter reacted after India U19 National Cricket Team suffered a disappointing loss in the final of the U19 Asia Cup 2024 against the Bangladesh U19 National Cricket Team. The summit clash of the tournament took place at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

India U19 team had a horrible outing with the bat and it led to their downfall in the game. The Boys in Blue came up with a staggering effort with the ball and with the way they bowled, it was almost certain that they would win the game and lift yet another title.

India U19 bundled out the opposition for just 198 runs

India U19 National Cricket Team bundled out the opposition for just 198 runs and didn't let the batters settle at all. Yudhajit Singh Guha, Chetan Sharma, and Hardik Raj picked two wickets each while Kiran Chormale, KP Karthikeya, and Ayush Mhatre were amongst the wickets as well.

For the Bangladesh U19, Mohammad Shihab James and MD Rizan Hossan were the top performers for the team with innings of 40 and 47 runs, respectively. Along with them, keeper-batter Farid Hasan also played a valiant hand of 39 runs.

In the chase, India came up with a torrid effort. Both the openers, Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, fell early, and the team came under pressure. Andre Siddarth (20) and KP Karthikeya (21) tried to bail the team out of trouble but failed to get going.

Skipper Mohammad Amaan also struggled to get going as he scored 26 runs off 65 balls. Bangladesh U19 National Cricket Team bowlers were all over the opposition as they kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals and bundled out the India U19 National Cricket Team for just 139 runs to win the game by a massive margin.

Skipper Aziz Hakim Tamim was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets and gave away just 8 runs. Iqbal Hossain Emon also bagged three wickets while others also made contributions as Bangladesh U19 National Cricket Team won the game by the margin of 59 runs.
