Adam Zampa Bought By Sunrisers Hyderabad For INR 2.40 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Australia star Adam Zampa has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crores. The 32-year-old leg-spinner has plied his trade for three teams in the IPL so far.

His journey in the IPL began in 2016 when he was signed up by Rising Pune Supergiant. In his first IPL season, Zampa picked up an impressive 12 wickets from just 5 games including a 6-wicket haul.

In IPL 2017, he claimed 7 wickets from 6 games. He did not play in the IPL for the next three seasons before finally returning to action in 2020 while representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Zampa, however, struggled to get a regular chance and played only 3 games.

After 2020, he played in the IPL again in 2023 while being a part of the Rajasthan Royals squad. In IPL 2023, the World Cup-winning spinner picked up 8 wickets in 6 games.

Zampa has been one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world for the last few years and would be desperate to prove himself in the IPL as well.
