Kuldeep Yadav has been one of India’s key players in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The onus to lead the spin attack was on him and the left-arm spinner has done a commendable job.
In a competition where India’s fast bowlers are grabbing all the limelight, Kuldeep Yadav has ensured to remain in discussion with his performances. In 10 games so far, he has picked up 15 wickets and has maintained a stunning economy rate of 4.32
The way Kuldeep Yadav has performed in the ongoing World Cup as well as in recent months, it won’t be surprising at all if he goes on to lead India’s spin attack for years to come. He has been tipped to have a bright future by many and the Indian fans will be hoping that the highly-rated spinner lives up to the expectations.
Kuldeep Yadav reveals after cricket plan:
What will Kuldeep Yadav do after retiring from the game? Will he become a commentator or will just stay away from cricket? Only time will tell how things unfold for the left-arm spinner but he has revealed what he would like to do once he hangs his boots. He made the revelation during a conversation with football icon David Beckham who attended India’s World Cup semifinal clash against New Zealand in Mumbai earlier this year.
The India spinner’s love for football is well known. He regularly posts about football on his social media accounts and made sure to talk about the game with the legendary Beckham when he got the opportunity. During the same conversation, he revealed that he would like to be associated with football after ending his playing days as a cricketer.
‘Tactically, I am very strong. After Cricket, I am going to join some management. Big fan of Barcelona. I always go and watch Messi,” said Kuldeep.
“Leo is the best,” Beckham replied before the spinner said: “Big fan of Paul Scholes. After cricket, football is everything for me. Whenever you get the time, say hi to Gary Neville.”
