Former India National Cricket Team star Yuvraj Singh came up with a massive reaction after Abhishek Sharma got run out in the first T20I against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The first game of the three-match series between the teams took place in Gwalior on Sunday (6th October).

Abhishek didn't have a great outing with the bat in the first T20I against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The opening batter, who is the only designated opener in the team, looked aggressive right from the start, but he couldn't carry on as he had an unfortunate end to his innings.

Abhishek played some crisp shots in his innings and with the way he was batting, it seemed something special was on the cards. But that wasn't the case as the southpaw ran out early on in the innings as confusion with Sanju Samson saw him back in the hut early.

Sanju Samson tucked the delivery to mid-wicket and wasn't keen to take the single. But Abhishek Sharma, who was at the non-striker’s end, wanted a quick single and was out his crease. Towhid Hridoy saw the batter and hit the bullseye to send the batter packing after a start.

Abhishek ended with an innings of 16 runs off 7 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 230 and also hit 6 boundaries in his innings. But thankfully, that didn't cost India much, as they went on to win the game with ease.

As India won the game, Abhishek took to Instagram to share pictures from the game with the caption, ‘Every run, every ball–it’s all for the team’. However, what caught the attention of many was the comment of the mentor of batter Yuvraj Singh.

On Abhishek Sharma's post, one of the fans backed Abhishek, predicting a big knock was around the corner, replying to that Yuvraj Singh hilariously thrashed the young batter. He cheekily added: “Only if we apply our brains properly.”

India win first T20I by 7 wickets

After Abhishek Sharma got out, Sanju Samson (29) and Suryakumar Yadav (29) added 40 runs in a flash to take the team close to victory. They both lost their wickets at the crucial juncture of the game but Hardik Pandya stole the show.

The former captain of the team played a brutal hand with the bat. He ended with the innings of unbeaten 39 runs off just 16 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 245 and slammed 5 fours and 2 sixes in the innings.

Based on the vital effort with the bat and ball, the India National Cricket Team won the game by the margin of 7 wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. They chased 128 runs in just 11.5 overs and sent a strong message to the opposition with two games still left.
