Former Indian spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan slammed England pacer Stuart Broad for his behaviour during the final day of the second Test in the ongoing Ashes series. Laxman Sivaramakrishnan took a dig at Broad, recalling the six sixes he conceded to Yuvraj Singh in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Jonny Bairstow’s controversial dismissal during the final day of the Lord’s sparked discussions within the cricket community. Australia’s wicketkeeper batter controversially stumped Bairstow. The England wicketkeeper batter had left the crease, assuming the completion of the over.

During the final day of the Lord’s Test, the stump mic captured Stuart Broad telling Alex Carey, “That is all you will ever be remembered for,” while batting.

The 37-year-old then told Australian captain Pat Cummins: “Literally, that’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in cricket, that.”

As per the laws of the game, the ball is dead when “it is clear to the bowler’s end umpire that the fielding side and both batters at the wicket have ceased to regard it as in play”.

Renowned commentator Laxman Sivaramakrishnan took to Twitter to share his opinion on Stuart Broad‘s comments to Alex Carey.

The hosts suffered a 43-run loss in the second Ashes Test and conceded a 2-0 lead to Australia in the five-match series. The Ben Stokes-led team were bowled for 327 runs in the final innings of the match while chasing a mammoth total of 371 runs.

Skipper Ben Stokes played a brilliant knock of 155 off 214 deliveries, while Ben Duckett contributed 83 runs off 112 balls. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood claimed three wickets each for Australia, while Cameron Green picked up one wicket.
