Young middle-order batter Rinku Singh expressed his desire to perform well at the Asian Games 2023 and bring home the gold medal for the team. Rinku Singh mentioned his excitement about meeting javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra during the upcoming event.
Rinku Singh came into the limelight after hitting five consecutive sixes off Gujarat Titans pacer Yash Dayal during the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-handed batter was the consistent performer for his team in IPL 2023, finishing as the leading run-scorer.
The southpaw scored 474 runs in 14 games with an impressive average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.53. As a result, he was included in a three-match T20I series against Ireland last month. He made his debut in the first T20I but didn’t get a chance to bat on his first outing.
