West Indies pacer Shamar Joseph bowled Travis Head with a brilliant delivery in Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test at The Gabba in Brisbane. Shamar Joseph bowled a good-length ball that tarnished Travis Head’s bails in the 2nd innings.

Shamar Joseph also picked two wickets in two back-to-back balls to showcase stunning efforts while bowling in the AUS vs WI 2nd innings. His lethal pace attack has troubled Aussie batters throughout the match and Travis Head was his other victim on Day 4 of Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test.

In the 2nd innings of Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test, Shamar Joseph dismissed Travis Head for a duck. He dismissed Cameron Green in the previous delivery of the 30th over. To dismiss Travis Head, the right-arm pacer pitched a straight delivery.

The ball hit him on the thighs first but found a way to the stumps like a flowing river and dislodged the bails. Have a look at the video of the event below.

Travis Head also faced a duck in the 1st innings. He was dismissed by Kemar Roach in the 1st innings with a catch by Joshua Da Silva. Australia has a target of 216 in the final innings of Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test.

Shamar Joseph grabs 6 wickets in 2nd innings

Right-arm seamer Shamar Joseph hunted 1 wicket in the 1st innings leaking 56 runs. He showed impeccable work in the 2nd innings, hunting 6 wickets till Australia lost 8 wickets. After dismissing Cameron Green and Travis Head, Joseph also demolished Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins in the 2nd innings.

Meanwhile, before the dinner break, the Aussies needed 29 runs for victory with 2 wickets in the kitty. Steve Smith is the only hope for the Aussies; who stands tall on the crease with 76 runs. Nathan Lyon is the other batter on the crease.

Australia Need 216 For Victory In 2nd Test

West Indies batted first in the match and posted 311 runs before getting all out. They lost top-order wickets cheaply but with fifties by Kavem Hodge, Joshua Da Silva, and Kevin Sinclair, they crossed 300+ runs on the board.

Earlier, Australia posted 289-9 (d) in 1st innings with a half-century by Usman Khawaja. Alex Carey and Pat Cummins also slammed fifties in 1st innings. Alzarri Joseph got 4 wickets. West Indies were bowled out for 190 in the 2nd innings.

Kirk McKenzie, with his 41 runs, was the top run-getter for the side and the only batter to cross the 40-run mark. While the 216-run target looked easy for the Aussies at the start, Shamar Joseph’s storm took a big toll on their batting on the penultimate day.
