Australia, India Players Make Huge Strides In ICC Rankings

Australian Cricket Team had a terrific summer where they thrashed the mighty Proteas and won the Test Series by 2-0. The Aussies now are on the brink of getting into the final of the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23). The team showed great fighting spirit as there was a collective effort.

Usman Khawaja now has entered into the top 10 batters ranking as he is in 8th position. The batter missed out on a double ton where skipper Pat Cummins declared when Khawaja was on 195. Josh Hazlewood now is the No.10 ranked Test bowler whereas Cummins continues to be at the top.

Tom Latham & Saud Shakeel Rise in ICC Rankings

Tom Latham, the left handed batter scored 71 & 62 in the 2nd Test match against Pakistan and now has moved to 19th place in Test batters rankings. Devon Conway, the elegant batter who scored a century in the 1st innings of 2nd Test Match moved to 21st position. Saud Shakeel, the youngster who scored his maiden ton is at 30th position in ICC rankings.

Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma Dazzle

Virat Kohli, the dashing right handed batter smashed a scintillating century against Sri Lanka in the 1st ODI. The batter looked in complete control of the match where he was quite keen on rotating strike which frustrated the bowlers. Virat now has jumped to 6th position in ICC ODI Batters rankings.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was in beat mode where the right handed batter smashed 83 runs. It looked as if he rediscovered his mojo where the billion people where thrilled to see a dynamic knock. The batter now is at 8th position. The management would be delighted after seeing their senior batters getting back to form.
