Australia vs India 2018: Amitabh Bachchan Praises Team India For Their Excellent Show

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan congratulated Indian National Cricket Team for their exceptional effort in the third Test against Australia. Meanwhile, the four-match Test series is currently locked at 1-1 while both the teams keen to take the lead ahead 0f the Sydney Test.

However, India had declared their innings just half an hour before stumps on day two. Cheteshwar Pujara was the lone centurion from the team scoring 106 runs. He managed to slam his second century in the series. On the other hand, Virat Kohli along with debutant Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma were the other three half-centurions from the Indian team.

India had managed to score 443 runs with the loss of seven wickets before declaring in the first essay. The Aussies struggled to put up a good show with the bat against spirited Indian bowling. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers who bagged six wickets to his name. He had put some brilliant effort, and it was also his third five-wicket haul in a year.

Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan lauded Indian cricket team for their excellent show in the third Test. He also showers praises on Bumrah as he recorded his career-best bowling figures of 6/33 off 15.5 overs to help India bowl out Australia for 151 and take a mammoth innings lead of 292 runs on day three of the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.

India had lost their half of the batting within 54 runs on the board in the second innings. Mayank Agarwal along with Rishabh Pant will resume batting on day four with a lead of 346 runs.
