The young batter continued, “Delhi players are known for their aggressive cricket. So, the DPL will be very competitive and fun to watch for cricket followers. What excites me most about the league is playing against Ishant Sharma. We always have this banter that he’ll get me out, and I tell him I’ll hit him for sixes, so playing against him will be fun.”

Meanwhile, Ayush Badoni, the top pick for the South Delhi Superstars, has shared details about his interaction with the team owner, Shikhar Dhawan. Following the player draft, the veteran Indian batter reached out to Badoni, who revealed that they have been frequently talking about the team’s strategies and preparations for the upcoming DPL 2024.
The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter also revealed that Dhawan has strong confidence in his Superstars' squad and has fostered a relaxed and supportive environment for the team. Badoni said that he and his teammates are now eagerly waiting to be in action in the tournament and win the Delhi Premier League trophy.
