I don't come from a rich family: Babar Azam
Meanwhile, Babar reflected on his early struggles before joining the Pakistan national cricket team. He revealed that his family didn’t have the money, but they supported him and said that their support was unwavering and instrumental in his journey.
He signed off by saying, “I don't come from a rich family, and we didn't have money all the time. But my parents supported me a lot.”
Notably, Babar will be next seen in action in the upcoming two-match Test match series against Bangladesh at home. This Test series, starting on August 21, will be Pakistan’s first assignment since their embarrassing group exit from the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
The Men in Green failed to qualify for the Super-8 round of the T20 World Cup 2024, which India won last month. They are now looking forward to a fresh start with the red-ball assignment against Bangladesh at home before the crucial tours of Australia and South Africa.
