While the on-field preparations have been spot on, the players of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team are having a hard time in the hotel. As per the reports in Geo News, it is learned that the players have expressed their concerns over the slow internet in the hotel and are unhappy with the arrangements.

The reports claimed that Bangladesh players have complained to their team management regarding slow internet in Pakistan which is causing them inconvenience while talking to families back home. This comes after a poor situation in Bangladesh.

With the poor situation in the country, the Test series against Pakistan will be a massive opportunity for the Bangladesh National Cricket Team to bring some joy to the fans back home. They would be keen to win the two games and bag important World Test Championship points under their belt.

Bangladesh arrived in Pakistan on August 12 for the two Tests. They have assembled in Lahore and are training at the Gaddafi Stadium and will be there till 16th August before traveling to Islamabad on August 17 for the first Test.

Bangladesh will be captained by Najmul Hossain Shanto and the squad also has seen the return of fast bowler Taskin Ahmed, who last played a Test in June 2023. Also, Shakib al Hasan and Shoriful Islam have been named in the Team despite being away from Test cricket.

A grassy pitch is expected for the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh

There were also reports that the Pakistan National Cricket Team have asked the pitch curators to prepare a green pitch for the Rawalpindi Test. This is because Bangladesh batters are good against spinners but can be exploited easily on grassy pitches, giving an advantage to the home team.

The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh might also be hampered due to the weather conditions. Heavy rain is predicted across all five days of the Rawalpindi Test and there are chances that we might not get a result in the first game of the series.

Pakistan National Cricket Team on the other hand are also preparing hard for the series. They have gone through tough times in the last few months and would be keen to stage a comeback and give their fans something to cheer about. Under the leadership of Shan Masood, they would want to start fresh and would want to win the series.
