During the BBL 2023-24 match between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers, Scorchers wicketkeeper Josh Inglis pulled off a screamer to dismiss Jordan Silk. The incident took place in the 19th over of the second on the bowling of Perth Scorchers Jason Behrendorff.
During the first ball of the over, Jason Behrendorff bowled a length ball that was angling outside the leg stump. Jordan Silk tried to play a flick shot over the midwicket region but ended up top-edging the ball. The ball went over the head of the wicketkeeper towards the third man region and Josh Inglis was running after the ball.
In the end, Josh Inglis had to dive to complete the catch which he did, and landed in front of the third man fielder. The catch was very difficult as covered a lot of ground and was running backward to catch the ball. Jordan Silk had to walk back for 14 runs off 13 balls.
