BCCI Announce 20-Man India U19 Squad For Asia Cup And 25-Man Squad For Preparatory Camp

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the India U19 squad for the Asia Cup and preparatory camp.

The All-India Junior Selection Committee has named a 20-member India under-19 squad for the upcoming ACC U19 Asia Cup which is scheduled to begin from 23 December to January 1 in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The selection committee has also named a 25-member squad for a preparatory camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru which will begin from December 11 to December 19.

Meanwhile, Yash Dhull has been given the privilege to lead the Indian team in the marquee tournament. He was one of the top run-scorers in the recent Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He smashed 302 runs in 5 games at an average of 75.50 and a strike rate of 103.42.

Yash Dhull will be looking forward to taking India towards their 8th Asia Cup victory in the upcoming event.

Meanwhile, in the official release by the BCCI, it was mentioned that India’s U19 World Cup squad will be announced later. Notably, the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup is scheduled to begin in West Indies in January-February 2022.

Harnoor Singh Pannu, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Ansh Gosai, S K Rasheed, Yash Dhull (Captain), Anneshwar Gautam, Siddharth Yadav, Kaushal Tambe, Nishant Sindhu, Dinnesh Bana (wk), Aaradhya Yadav (wk), Rajangad Bawa, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Garv Sangwan, Ravi Kumar, Rishith Reddy, Manav Parakh, Amrit Raj Upadhyay, Vicky Ostwal, Vasu Vats (subject to fitness clearance)
