India Women's National Cricket Team are currently playing in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024
India Women's National Cricket Team are currently playing in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. They aren't having a great tournament with the bat and all. They lost the opening game against the New Zealand Women's National Cricket Team and recently lost against Australia Women's National Cricket Team as well.
They are on the brim of getting eliminated from the tournament. To qualify for the semi-final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, they need another result on their way. If the New Zealand Women's National Cricket Team win the game against Pakistan Women's National Cricket Team, then the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will eliminated.
But if Pakistan wins, the Women in Blue will be through the semi-final. Australia have made it into the semi-final of the tournament. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side would be hoping that their arch-rivals win and do them a big favour.
If we get the opportunity to play another game, that will be great - Harmanpreet Kaur
After the loss against Australia in the T20 World Cup, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said that they need to learn a lot from Australia. She said that it would be great if they got the opportunity to play another game. She had said:
We can learn a lot from Australia. Whatever was in our hands, we were trying to do that but that's something not in our control. If we get the opportunity to play another game, that will be great. But otherwise, whoever deserves to be there, that team will be there.
