The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief selector Chetan Sharma has grabbed the headlines for all the wrong reasons. He was the central figure in the recently carried out sting operation by the Zee News.

Chetan Sharma has made some shocking revelations about the things happening in Team India and the BCCI. Also, he talked about several prominent names in Indian cricket, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.

The 57-year-old spoke at length about the controversy between Virat Kohli-Sourav Ganguly. Furthermore, he spoke about the much-talked-about alleged rift between the star players – Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Chetan Sharma even disclosed how some of the Indian players use certain types of injections to attain full fitness. He mentioned that players use injections that contain substances that are not detectable in a doping test.

Chetan Sharma Reveals Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan Have Put The Careers Of Sanju Samson, KL Rahul In Jeopardy

On Wednesday, February 15, new details of the sting operation conducted by the media house on Chetan Sharma came out.

The BCCI chief selector revealed that the performances of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill have put the careers of Sanju Samson, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan in jeopardy.

He particularly mentioned the remarkable double century of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill’s extraordinary white-ball form. Notably, Kishan played a stupendous knock and smashed a double century in the third ODI against Bangladesh last December. Ishan Kishan smashed his double century off 126 balls. Overall he scored 210 runs off 131 balls, including 24 fours and 10 sixes.

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill recently won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for January 2023. He looked at his absolute best in January and dominated the opposition teams in white-ball cricket.

In the Sri Lanka ODI series, Shubman Gill smashed brilliant 70, 21, and 116. In the next ODI series against New Zealand, he registered a remarkable double century in the first match and then backed it up with 40* and 112 in his next two outings. Overall, Gill smashed 360 runs in the series to equal Babar Azam’s record for most runs by anyone in a three-match ODI series.

Also, Gill performed exceptionally well in the T20I series decider against the BlackCaps. He smashed 126* runs off 63 balls in the third T20I to help India seal the series.

Talking about Sanju Samson, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan, the Kerala wicketkeeper-batter Samson has failed to become a regular member of the Indian setup despite his consistent performances. Rahul, who was recently removed from the vice-captaincy role in white-ball cricket, has struggled with his form. Also, Dhawan is out of India’s scheme of things in all three formats.
