Cheteshwar Pujara Becomes 2nd Indian Batter To Score 12,000 First Class Runs

Indian Cricket Team’s senior right-handed batter Cheteshwar Pujara is in the form of his life. Pujara has been the pillar of Men in Blue for the last decade. The batter recently has developed an attacking brand of cricket especially when he is playing with the tail-enders.
Pujara would be well aware of the fact that Australia would be a completely different ball game as compared to Bangladesh where the team fought hard to win the 2nd Test match. Aussies are most likely to play with 3 seamers for the Series which is quite surprising given the fact that pitches would be spin-friendly.

Exciting Contest on Cards
Cheteshwar Pujara will have to make sure that he sticks to the crease and plays long & effective innings. A lot will depend on how Pujara & Virat fare as apart from that the middle order looks a bit fragile. Suryakumar Yadav could get the nod ahead of Shreyas Iyer due to his hitting prowess.
Australia would be well aware of the fact that they haven’t Won Test Series in India since 2004. Skipper Pat Cummins will have a strenuous task on hand as like India, Aussies don’t have a reliable middle order. Aussies have almost qualified for the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) final where they would be keen to continue their dominance as in the 2021-23 cycle, they have been quite ruthless.
