Crackdown in team India!! Gautam Gambhir's management sends Unity Message to all players

After India's loss in the first test at Headingley, there has been speculation as well as social media buzz over head coach Gautam Gambhir scoffing at Indian youngsters like Yashasvi Jaiswal for their dismal effort on the field.
However, some Team India sources shared with CricBlogger that Team India management is currently looking for unity within the players, as the new squad consists of several youngsters who still have a long way to go in the game.
“There will be ups and downs, but the message from the management is clear — the team must fight together. It’s never about individuals. It’s about the team,” as revealed by a source close to Team India to CricBlogger.
Gautam Gambhir sidelines the individual glory
Gautam Gambhir has always emphasized team over individual glory, as cricket is a game featuring 11 players, and only one or two cannot win you matches.
The best example of individual glory in the Headingley test included Rishabh Pant, who was at the peak of the Indian batters with twin centuries across two innings of the first test. Other Indian batters Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal also delivered stunning hundreds.
Jasprit Bumrah's efforts with the ball were significant as he picked up a 5-fer in the first innings and kept choking the opposition at times with his accuracy. However, it seemed evident that Bumrah is missing the services of his long red-ball partner, Mohammed Shami, who has not been picked for the England series.
Gautam Gambhir might consider Kuldeep Yadav for the Edgbaston test
Gautam Gambhir might bring in old hacks to the Indian team, as India might look to go with 5 frontline bowlers in the side. India suffered a huge loss owing to the inefficiency of the Indian lower order, which proved to be one of the monumental reasons for the humiliation at Leeds.
Now, rather than working with pieces, India might look for options who excel in at least one department, either batting or bowling. With suggestions from several former cricketers and the need for frontline bowlers, Gautam Gambhir and co. might look forward to bringing in Kuldeep Yadav as the second spinner to the Indian side.
India can then go with 5 bowlers, including the likes of two spinners and three pacers, a clarity over which seems doubtful due to reports of Bumrah missing the Edgbaston test.
Kuldeep Yadav's record in Test Cricket
Kuldeep Yadav rose in Indian Test cricket despite the presence of Indian spin greats Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in the side. He made his debut under Virat Kohli's leadership in 2017 against Australia.
As of now, Kuldeep Yadav has played for India across all three formats of the game and is a major contributor to the Indian limited-overs side. He has played in 13 Test matches with 56 wickets to his name at an average of 22.16. With 4 five-wicket hauls, he has the best figures of 5/40 in tests.
