Indian skipper Virat Kohli has impinged himself as one of the greatest-ever batsmen that this beautiful game has ever seen.
And, he has done that through sheer hard, grit, discipline, and unrelenting zeal to be the best version of himself.
A driven individual with the sole motive to perform at his best and ensure that his team ends up on the winning note, Virat Kohli has stamped his authority against the best bowlers of his era during the course of the last 13 years.
One of Kohli’s biggest strengths is the amount of confidence he has in his ability. No matter what the situation he finds himself in, the 32-year-old always managed to find a way to carve out never-seen-before performances.
Having made his debut against Sri Lanka in 2008, Virat has hammered as many as 70 hundred across formats- the third-most after Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting- and he remains the only batsman to smash in excess of 20000 runs in a single decade.
Such is his versatility that he seamlessly transitions from the fast pace T20 cricket to the grit of the five-day game and that is reflected in the numbers that he has accumulated across all three formats.
And, that is the major reason why he has so much respect from fans as well as his peers.
And, that was clearly reflected when South African swashbuckler David Miller picked Kohli as his favourite batsman.
Miller, on Wednesday, conducted a Question-Answer session for his fans and he was flooded with questions related to a wide range of topics.
One of his fans asked him about his favorite batsman currently. And, David Miller had no hesitation in picking Virat Kohli.
“Who other than @imVkohli”- replied David Miller.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be hoping to emulate his 2018 exploits when he returns to the UK this summer.
The Indian skipper will be hoping to break his century jinx and lead his team from the front during the six Test summer which includes the all-important ICC WTC final against New Zealand.
