Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh feels that KL Rahul and LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka's talks should have been inside the dressing room. Harbhajan Singh also felt that the timing of the chat was not right.

After Lucknow Super Giants' miserable loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad by 10 wickets in IPL 2024, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was seen having an animated chat with KL Rahul. He was seen arguing with the LSG skipper after the defeat and looked annoyed with the team's performance.

The video went viral on social media and many cricket fans were not happy with the event. Fans disliked the LSG owner's behaviour towards KL Rahul and it became one of the talking points for IPL 2024.

Talks should have been inside the dressing room: Harbhajan Singh

IPL 2024 commentator Harbhajan Singh shared his views on the matter on Star Sports. The former off-spinner feels the talks should have been inside the dressing room as it is not good for the team's atmosphere.

“There can be differences between the captain and the management but the talks should be behind doors which is better for everyone. The talks should have been inside the dressing room. Whatever talks are going on, it is not good for the team’s atmosphere. The timing was also not right,” Harbhajan Singh said.

Harbhajan Singh hails KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan

Citing an example of KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan, Harbhajan Singh recalled how he didn't used to interfere in the team.

“KKR is a great unit, huge fan of (Shah Rukh) Khan sahab. Hats off to that guy, he just doesn’t interfere at all when it comes to cricket. Their dressing room looks very secure".

'That’s what a good mentor does, wherever he goes, to ensure that everyone is on the same page and plays as one unit. A happy team is a winning team,” he further said.
