Openers: Abishek Porel, Faf du Plessis
Abhishek Porel will open the innings for DC along with Faf du Plessis in their next match against SRH. Abhishek would like to put on a strong performance after failing to deliver against KKR.
Faf du Plessis, who has returned after nursing an injury, will look to continue the form he showed in the initial few games in the upcoming clash against SRH.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Karun Nair, KL Rahul (wk), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel (c), Ashutosh Sharma
DC has a strong middle order at its disposal and would hope for a meaningful contribution from the likes of Karun Nair, KL Rahul, and Tristan Stubbs.
Karun Nair, who has been short of runs in the last few matches, would like to make full use of the conditions and get a big score under his belt in an important game against SRH.
Like Karun, KL Rahul would also want to make a decisive contribution with the bat as the right-hand batter hasn't been able to convert starts into big scores and has got out after getting set.
Axar Patel has held the innings together with the bat while batting in the middle order and has guided the team to a defendable total despite not getting much support from the other end.

Starc, who bowled a match-winning super over for DC against RR in their second match in Delhi, hasn't had the best of outings wth the ball in the last few matches.
The left-arm pacer has gone for runs, which has resulted in the team being unable to pick up wickets in the first six overs.
Along with Starc, the fast bowling duo of Mukesh Kumar and Dushmantha Chameera has been ineffective with the ball in the middle overs, which has intensified the problem for DC.
Delhi Capitals would want their fast bowlers to take the responsibility of picking up wickets in the middle overs as well for the Axar Patel-led side to restrict SRH to a total of somewhere between 170-180.
Having said that, Delhi Capitals' spin department, comprising Vipraj Nigam, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav, has done its job by picking wickets in all phases of the innings and has given DC a fair chance of winning on various occasions.
The bowlers will have to put their hands up and take the responsibility in order to get the act together for the Delhi Capitals.
