Donovan Ferreira has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 75 lakh. The South African is a wicketkeeper-batsman and played for Rajasthan Royals in the last season of the IPL.
He made his IPL debut in 2024 and played only two games in his first season. In those two games, Ferreira could score only 8 runs. The right-handed batsman has played in several leagues around the world.
Apart from the IPL, Ferreira has also plied his trade in the Caribbean Premier League, SA20, and T20 Blast as well as the Hundred. He has also represented South Africa in the 4 T20Is so far.
Overall, the 26-year-old has played 88 T20s so far and has scored 1608 runs at a strike rate of close to 160. He has hit seven half-centuries in the shortest format of the game.
