The right-handed batsman has done a superb job as a skipper and batsman. In 15 games in IPL 2024, he mustered 531 runs averaging 48+ and a strike rate of 153+. He also shattered 5 half-centuries for the side.
2. Yuzvendra Chahal
Rajasthan Royals' home ground in Jaipur is a highly spin-friendly one and they need lethal spinners on their side. Undoubtedly, Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the best spinners in India and has been part of RR since 2022.
The right-arm spinner hunted 18 wickets in 15 games at an average of 30.33 and an economy of 9+ in IPL 2024. He also did a wonderful job in the last two seasons and won the purple cap in IPL 2022. Hence, Chahal will be another name on the retention list.
