Gautam Gambhir roasted by Tanvir Ahmed after 3-0 whitewash, revenge taken for TV debate loss

Former Pakistan National Cricket Team Cricketer Tanvir Ahmed took a jibe at the India National Cricket Team head coach, Gautam Gambhir after the team faced a whitewash against the New Zealand National Cricket Team in the three-match Test series. He said that it was a gift from Gambhir to the nation.

Gambhir's stint as the head coach of the team so far hasn't been the way he would've wanted. One of the lowest points in his CV was written today as India faced a 3-0 whitewash against New Zealand. This came as a surprise because the team hasn't faced this ever at home.

Gautam Gambhir's coaching came under scanner a lot throughout the series.

India National Cricket Team looked clueless in all three games in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai. Indian batters, who are known as good players of spin, struggled against the slow bowlers and faced massive collapses in all three games, which led to their downfall and saw them losing.

Tanvir Ahmed credited the New Zealand National Cricket Team for creating the history. But said that Gambhir would've realized what is the result of being arrogant. Taking to his Twitter account, he explained:

Not only Tanvir Ahmed but also, another former Pakistan National Cricket Team Cricketer mocked India National Cricket Team. He said that it was a fantastic Sunday for him. He tweeted:

One of the major factors behind India's loss was batting collapses and their inability to chase down achievable targets. As many as 37 Indian wickets fell to spin, which in itself was the biggest thing, as Indian batters are generally touted as good players of spin.

Gambhir, ever since, he was appointed as the head coach of the team, things haven't been great. They first faced a series loss to Sri Lanka in ODIs and now the series defeat to New Zealand in Tests at home wouldn't have done any good. It remains to be seen how he will lift the team going ahead.
