In tonight’s match, Team India captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first. Did he make the wrong call, allowing the home team to bat first?
For India, Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma showed that the pitch still had something for the batters in the second innings of the match. Ishan scored 56 off 35, and Tilak got 53 off 25 balls. Carried by a couple of half-centuries, the Men in Blue replied with 201 in 20 overs, at the expense of 8 wickets, against England’s 257. England won the match by 56 runs.
