Indian Cricket Team had a terrific New Zealand T20I Series where they sealed the series after being 1-0 down. Skipper Hardik Pandya was quite instrumental and made shrewd decisions. In the 3rd T20I match at the iconic Ahmedabad, the flamboyant all-rounder had figures of 4-16 in 4 overs. Hardik’s decision to bowl upfront with the new ball has given India a lot of options.

Pandya also played a lethal cameo of 30 runs in 17 balls and helped India post a mammoth target. India’s T20I skipper now is the No.2 ranked all-rounder and is behind Bangladesh’s scintillating all-rounder Shakib al Hasan who has 252 ratings behind him.

Shubman Gill Dazzles

The dynamic right-handed batter struck a thunderstorm century in the 3rd T20I match. Shubman Gill took a giant step of 168 places and now is at 30 number in the ICC T20I Batting Rankings. The batter now is considered to be the 3 format player as the batter is in the form of his life. Shubman Gill showed that he can dominate the terms in the T20I format as well after shining in Tests & ODIs.

Arshdeep Singh Shines

Arshdeep Singh, the left-arm speedster who received a lot of flak for his poor bowling in the 1st T20I match where he bowled no-balls and was taken to the cleaners against New Zealand In the 3rd T20I match, the pacer took 2 wickets for 16 runs which was a decider for the Men in Blue. It looked as if the pacer rediscovered his mojo.

Suryakumar Yadav, the star-dashing right-handed batter went on his hold his top spot in the T20I batting rankings. The batter has a 906 rating behind him whereas Pakistan Cricket Team’s batters Mohammad Rizwan & Babar Azam are behind him. Suryakumar Yadav in the 2nd T20I match showed immense mental application when the pitch was a treacherous one for the batters.
