The Indian doctor who treated Mohammad Rizwan during his severe chest infection prior to the semi-finals has revealed that he is staggered by the recovery rate. Rizwan who was hospitalized until Wednesday noon had to go through severe chest pain and he had been in ICU for two days ahead of the all-important semi-finals.

The doctor had diagnosed the infection which had left Rizwan with intermittent fever, persistent cough, and chest tightness for 3-5 days and one positive for the Pakistan side was the Covid result returning negative. However, Rizwan is an important member of the Pakistan batting unit, and he stepped up again for the country when the doctors advised him to rest.

It Would Have Normally Taken 5-7 Days To Recover Reckons Saheer

The Indian doctor Saheer stated that anybody would have taken at least 5-7 to recover while Rizwan regained fitness in just two days’ time. The doctor revealed the focus and belief of Rizwan which helped in overcoming the condition quickly.
