England became the first team in cricket history to hold both the 50-over and T20 World Cups. All-rounder Moeen Ali said he has no personal goals and is only eager to see his country win the upcoming 2023 and 2024 World Cups following recent successes in white-ball cricket.

England beat India by 10 wickets in the semis and Pakistan by five runs in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Sam Curran took three wickets for 12 runs in four overs to restrict the opposition to 137 runs, and Ben Stokes scored a half century to take England home.

I Don’t Like Too Much Of A Break – Moeen Ali

Speaking to Cricbuzz, Moeen Ali said he will continue playing and training hard to maintain his fitness. The 35-year-old said his goal is to win both the 2023 50-over World Cup in India and the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.

“We just sat down and we spoke to be more aggressive. We became more dynamic as a team. We really switched styles and played really well after that. We went on to beat Sri Lanka, New Zealand, India and Pakistan. We play well when we have our backs against the wall,” said Moeen Ali.
