Former Australia fast bowler, Brett Lee takes a trip down memory lane when he was left awestruck by Indian legend, Sachin Tendulkar’s batting might. Lee remembered one instance when he hurled down a very fast delivery towards Tendulkar, who in return smashed it on the offside for a boundary. The pacer was left bamboozled.

The two cricketing giants have always had heated contests in the past but both also share a great mutual respect for each other with Tendulkar even inviting the Aussie pacer to dinner at his house.

As quoted by Mid-Day, Brett Lee said, “There were a couple of occasions where I got Sachin out. But there’s also a game in Sydney, where I bowled at around 165 kph and he just smacked me for a four. It was an off-drive for four. I was like ‘Wow! This guy is an absolute legend’.”

Brett Lee Invites Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma To Have Their First Child In Australia

India was humiliated by the Aussie pacers on the third day of the Adelaide Test as India recorded their lowest total in Test cricket and conceded an 8 wicket defeat in the first match of the series. To add to their miseries, captain Virat Kohli will not be available for the next three Test matches as he will return home to attend the birth of his child.

Brett Lee humorously asked Virat Kohli, and his wife, Anushka Sharma to give birth to their child in Australia. Hence, Virat Kohli would not have to leave the country and not have to undergo the 14-day quarantine period- which is the reason that he won’t return to play.

The 44-year-old funnily remarks that whether Kohli has a girl or boy it would be fantastic either way and could also don the ‘Baggy Green’ which is a Test cap for Australia as well.

“If you would like to Mr. Kohli, you are welcome to have your child in Australia. Because we will accept you. If you have a little girl, fantastic. If you have a little boy, fantastic. They might become a Baggy Green,” Brett Lee told Mid-Day.
