India will be without the services of Jasprit Bumrah in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025
This is because India will be without the services of Jasprit Bumrah in the tournament. The fast bowler faced injury during the last game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 as he bowled over 150 overs in 5 games. However, since then, Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action, and recently, BCCI confirmed that the pacer hasn't gained full fitness, replacing him with Harshit Rana.
In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, India will have just one senior pacer in the team in Mohammed Shami. But the fast bowler, too, is returning from injury. He faced an ankle issue during the ICC World Cup 2023 and was out of action for more than one year, making a return through the T20I series against England.
