The right-arm spinner picked 6 wickets in an innings during Australia vs England 1st Test in August 2019. The off-spinner also picked 5 wickets in both the innings during Australia vs New Zealand 3rd Test in January 2020.

Lyon’s 4th fifer came during Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test in Nov-Dec 2019 when he scalped 5 wickets in the 2nd innings of the match. Overall, Nathan Lyon accounts for 56 wickets in 27 innings in the tournament at an average of 31.37.
