Shreyas Iyer displayed a magnificent performance on the field during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 game against Australia at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Indian batter took a stupendous catch and earned huge praise from the crowd.

Harbhajan Singh recently batted for the inclusion of Suryakumar Yadav in the team over Shreyas Iyer. He said that no one is like him and he’s someone who can help India win the ICC World Cup 2023. Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, he explained:

“Suryakumar Yadav is someone who can win you games, Cup. He’s someone who can change the course of the game. If you are losing the game, Suryakumar comes in and changes the course of the game. When he bats, he bats differently. There’s no player in World cricket like him. So you have to have him even if he flops in 4-5 games.”

Shreyas Iyer looked in great touch in the recently concluded series against Australia. He smashed a ton and also has started in the XI in the ongoing game against Australia.
