Indian Cricket Team registered a resounding victory against the mighty Bangladeshi Tigers in the 3rd ODI. The Men in Blue won the match by 227 runs and gave a reality check to Bangladesh. The dashing left-handed batter Ishan Kishan took the World Cricket by storm by smashing a fantastic double century.

The former skipper Virat Kohli notched up his 72nd International Century and now has gone past the legendary Ricky Ponting’s tally of 71 tons. Virat played the role of an anchor as he was seen smashing an odd boundary.  The Bangladeshi bowlers were bowling into the arc of Ishan Kishan.

Saba Karim was having an interaction with Sony Sports and was asked about Ishan Kishan. “Ishan Kishan always had the talent. He was born in Patna. He decided to play for Jharkhand, where there is excellent infrastructure and good competition. The biggest thing is that MS Dhoni comes from the same state. So he got to learn a lot from him.” said Saba Karim.

“Ishan Kishan spent a lot of time with him in the dressing room when both played together for Jharkhand. MS Dhoni used to go back and play for Jharkhand whenever he got an opportunity. So there has been an extremely strong influence, both in wicket-keeping and batting.” he added.

Poor Performance by Bangladesh

Chasing 410 runs was never going to be easy but the batters didn’t put in a fight. Not a single batter scored a half-century and it looked as if they were not ready for the steep challenge. There were high hopes for Litton Das to lead the team from the front but he wasn’t able to give the team a rollicking start.

India’s bowlers bowled impeccable lines and lengths and made sure that they are not giving easy runs to the opposition. Skipper KL Rahul was rotating the bowlers quite smartly. The billion people got something to cherish after a disappointing outing in the first 2 ODIs.
