Gautam Gambhir, head coach of the Indian cricket team, and batting superstar Virat Kohli have already moved on from their past feuds, and now it seems that they are gradually building great relationships while working together towards the team’s success.

During India’s last ODI series in Sri Lanka, Gambhir and Virat Kohli were seen having a really jolly time, and the pictures and videos were all over social media. Now, the Indian head coach yet again grabbed the headlines for his yet another statement on the dashing right-hander.

Gautam Gambhir crowns Virat Kohli ‘Shahenshah’ in fun Bollywood x Cricket Game

Well, the former India captain has been affectionately called 'king' by his fans, experts, and the media. However, Kohli has time and again said that he found it "embarrassing" and even asked his fans to stop calling him ‘King’, but he has now got another moniker from none other than Gambhir.

The Indian head coach has introduced a fresh title for Kohli, and it is now going viral on social media. During the Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20, Gambhir interacted with the tournament’s social media page and took part in a fun ‘Bollywood x Cricket’ game.

In this game, he was asked to match Indian cricketers past or present with titles or characters from movies. And Gambhir stirred up quite the buzz with his bold picks during a fun game.

He crowned Kohli as "Shahenshah,” a title made famous by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan with his iconic role in the Bollywood film, highlighting his continued reign in the cricket world.

Gambhir calls Jasprit Bumrah 'Khiladi' of Indian Cricket

But the shocker came when Jasprit Bumrah, India’s lethal pace weapon, was leveled the "most important" tag by Gambhir. Surprisingly, the Indian head coach has not given any of the titles to two of India's biggest cricketing icons—MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma.

Apart from Virat Kohli and Bumrah, Gambhir also declared the legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh as ‘Badshah,’ a title of royalty.

He amusingly referred to himself as the ‘Angry Young Man,’ reflecting on his fiery persona on the field. Sachin Tendulkar was given the fearless title of ‘Dabang,’ while Rahul Dravid was labeled as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ for his meticulous game by Gambhir.

The recently retired Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was dubbed ‘Gabbar’ by the current Indian head coach, reflecting his aggressive style, while the iconic captain and legendary batter Sourav Ganguly was honored as ‘Tiger’ for his fierce leadership.

Here’s how Gautam Gambhir honors Indian stars:

Badshah: Yuvraj Singh.

Angry Young Man: Myself.

Dabang: Sachin Tendulkar.

Shahenshah: Virat Kohli.

Khiladi: Jasprit Bumrah. One more thing, 'Khiladi' is more important than all these.

Mr. Perfectionist: Rahul Dravid.

Notably, Bumrah, Kohli, and Gambhir are gearing up for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which is set to begin on September 19.

The first test will be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Chennai, followed by the second test at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on September 27. They will also play a three-match T20I series next month.
