Phenomenal To Watch Rohit Sharma Bat – Shane Watson

Speaking on the Star Sports show, Shane Watson has named Rohit Sharma as his Player of the Tournament. Watson praised Rohit’s exceptional batting performances and his ability to dominate from the first ball against top-class bowlers.

“According to me, I think the Player of the Tournament is going to be Rohit Sharma. He has just set the tournament alive so far. It’s been phenomenal to watch him bat the way he has. Take the game from ball one against the best bowlers in the world. And I just believe he is going to continue on such a rich vein of form until the end of the tournament. So he for me is the number one,” Watson told Star Sports.

Rohit Sharma has been in brilliant form with the bat in the World Cup, ranking as the fourth leading run scorer in the tournament. The right-handed batter has scored 311 runs in five innings at an impressive average of 62.20 with an outstanding strike rate of 133.48.
