Rajkot is all set to host the IND vs ENG third Test match from February 15-19. The series is level at 1-1 with the third Test well poised to start after the teams have enjoyed a 10-day break between the second and the third Test.
England is led by Ben Stokes while Rohit Sharma leads India. The two teams are opposites in the WTC points table standings. India are placed third in the table while England is as below as eighth.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has made it mandatory for the players not part of the Test team to play in the next round of Ranji Trophy matches. Players like Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan will be under BCCI’s radar as both have been advised to play domestic cricket.
India have selection conundrums heading into the third Test. Dhruv Jurel is expected to be selected in the playing XI after KS Bharat’s prolonged poor performances with the bat. Sarfaraz Khan might also make his debut. Jasprit Bumrah will be rested for the third Test with Mohd Siraj likely to replace him.
So far both the first two Test matches have ended inside four days. Thus the pitch in Rajkot will derive a lot of interest and eyeballs. As per reports, the Indian team has asked for a slow turner despite the batting lineup being inexperienced. The England spinners have posed problems to the Indian batters in the firts two Test matches.
