The 29-year-old Delhi batter Nitish Rana, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), recently liked a tweet demeaning the 24-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan.
Rana liked a tweet posted by a user after Ishan Kishan’s poor innings in the second T20I of the three-match series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, January 29.

Kishan struggled in the tough batting conditions in the second T20I and scored just 19 runs off 32 balls, including 2 fours, before getting run out in the run-chase of 100. Overall, he scored his runs at a strike rate of 59.37.
Alongside Kishan, other batters also struggled in the match, but eventually, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya steered India to a 6-wicket victory to level the series 1-1. The series decider will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, February 1.

Nitish Rana Likes A Tweet Demeaning Ishan Kishan
The tweet liked by Nitish Rana, who has played just 2 T20Is and a sole ODI for the India National Cricket Team, mentioned the poor performances of Kishan in his last 13 innings in T20Is, where he failed to cross the 40-run mark even once.
The tweet also mentioned that Kishan has scored only 199 runs in his last 13 T20I innings at an awful average of 15.30 and a poor strike rate of 106.41.
Notably, Kishan’s overall T20I numbers are not very impressive either, as he has scored 652 runs in 26 innings at an average of 26.08 and a strike rate of 123.25, including 4 50-plus scores.
Meanwhile, the Delhi and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter, Nitish Rana, who is nowhere close to India’s scheme of things in international cricket, liking that tweet clearly shows his frustration about a player getting chances despite back-to-back failures. Also, Rana might not be on good terms with the wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan.
