The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash is just a couple of days away. The arch-rivals are scheduled to lock horns against each other in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 on Saturday (October 14). The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

As per reports, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan team landed in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (October 11). They were in Hyderabad since landing in India last month. The Men in Green played both of their warm-up games as well as the first two World Cup games in Hyderabad and received good support from the local crowd.

Recently a report from Pakistan stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was concerned about the players’ safety in India and wanted the government to evaluate the arrangements. The reports stated that the PCB was concerned about a potential hostile reception for the players at several venues in India including Ahmedabad, the venue for their next game.

However, the Pakistan team is reportedly satisfied with the security arrangement in the city. According to a report from Cricbuzz, a Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) member said that the team management was happy with their security arrangements when the team arrived on Wednesday.
