Ishan Kishan has entertained the fans with his hilarious comments from behind the stumps during the recently-concluded first IND vs WI Test at the Windsor Park in Dominica.

India thrashed West Indies by an innings and 141 runs to go 1-0 up in the two-match series as well as open their account in the third cycle of the World Test Championship. While not many had expected West Indies to beat India, very few had also expected such a poor display from the home team as they suffered a humiliating loss in their own backyard.

Batting first on a slow and sluggish pitch, West Indies could only manage to score 150 runs in the first innings. Ravichandran Ashwin starred with the ball, taking 5 wickets. In reply, India declared their innings after scoring 421 for 5 with Yashasvi Jaiswal (171) and Rohit Sharma (103) scoring centuries.

West Indies’ performance in the second innings was disappointing too. They had no answer for Ashwin again as the India spin spearhead picked up seven wickets to blow the hosts away. West Indies were all out for just 130 runs in the second innings to suffer the heavy defeat.

Ishan Kishan made his debut in the Test and while he did not have much to do with the bat, he made sure to catch attention with his hilarious comments. And one of the most hilarious incidents took place when Jomel Warrican was batting in the second innings.

Warrican was shuffling across the stumps as he was batting, thus causing problems for Ishan Kishan behind the stumps. And the India wicketkeeper expressed his disappointment in an unexpected although hilarious manner.

After Warrican defended a ball while shuffling across the stumps, a dejected Ishan Kishan was caught telling Shubman Gill, who was standing at silly point: “Ma cho*d diya keeping ki. Muh ke saamne aa ja rha hai” (roughly translated to “He has messed up my keeping. He is coming right in front of the face”)
