IND vs WI: Match Preview–2nd ODI, 2023. India and West Indies will now wrestle with each other in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing series. IND vs WI, 2nd ODI, takes place on July 29 (Saturday). The venue of the encounter is Kensington Oval Stadium in Barbados.

India crushed West Indies by 5 wickets in the 1st match. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. For West Indies, openers Brandon King (17) and Kyle Mayers (2) got out cheaply.

One-down Alick Athanaze started well with his 22 runs but failed to convert his start into a big knock. Skipper Shai Hope remained unbeaten on one end at 43. However, the rest batters kept on losing their wickets.

Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja led a stunning spin attack in the match, clinching 4 and 3 wickets respectively. West Indies lost 7 batters for just single digits. In the end, they were all out for a low total of 114.

For India, opener Ishan Kishan scored a beautiful knock of 52 runs. However, many batters struggled to score runs on a spin-friendly wicket. Players like Shubman Gill (7), Suryakumar Yadav (19), Hardik Pandya (5), and Shardul Thakur (1) got out cheaply.

Towards the end when India lost 5 wickets for 94, captain Rohit Sharma arrived on the crease. With unbeaten 16 and 12, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma helped the team to win the match in just 22.5 overs.

Rohit Sharma is the skipper of India in the IND vs WI ODI series. In the opening game, Ishan Kishan scored 52 runs for the team. Ravindra Jadeja was next with unbeaten 19 runs.

In bowling, Kuldeep Yadav showed a marvelous effort by picking 4 wickets. He also won the Player of the Match award. Ravindra Jadeja also hunted superb a 3-wicket haul.

Shai Hope is the skipper West Indies in IND vs WI ODI series. In the opening ODI, he was the leading run-getter for the team with 43 runs. Alick Athanaze scored 22 runs.

In bowling, Gudakesh Motie hunted 2 wickets for the team. Jayden Seales and Yannic Cariah hunted 1 wicket each. Other bowlers failed to get any success in the match.
